Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav “Har Ghar Tiranga”, an initiative by the Government of India is to pay honour and tribute to our martyrs on India’s 75th Independence Day. With immense joy, we are celebrating our Independence Day like a festive week. Along with the celebrations, indeed it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the valuable gifts, we as Indians, have received as a community and nation as a whole. We are truly fortunate to have been born in free India thanks to the immeasurable sacrifices our freedom fighters made for us and our country.
Even after 75 years of gaining Independence, we are yet to break the chains of socially constructed stereotypes. Achieving gender equality and realising women's and girls’ empowerment, rights, and equal pay is a critical element. This agenda calls for deeper understanding and more efforts to contribute to meaningful change for groups. To end this, we offer a range of services to support them. The key to our approach is to think and act together with you to create a space that stimulates critical reflection and applied learning. In keeping with this outlook, our SHG’s women are provided with skills which aid
them to be self-independent and more confident. On the account of Independence Day, we have got the order for manufacturing 2000 Tricolour flags from our partner the TATA POWER which our skilled women from SHG’s group are completing with full dedication and enthusiasm, also contributing to the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative by Government of India.
On this 75th Independence Day, our skilled women will be equally empowered with joy, employment and independence. Let’s come up and support such an effort for our skilled women. Your support can potentially help our women to become self-employed and we are looking forward to some big entrepreneurs.
