One day training and workshop was organized by ALIG in collaboration with District Child Protection Unit and Bal Sakha on POCSO Act 2012, Child Protection and Child Sexual Abuse in Schools on 3rd January 2019.

The resource person for the program was Mr. Pijush Sengupta, State Coordinator, Bal Sakha, Ranchi, who has years of experience in the child protection field.

Given the increasing violence against children both physical and sexual, it has become increasingly important to learn the red flags. Since ALIG works primarily with the children in school, it becomes all the way more important. All the team members of ALIG needed to be sensitized about the POCSO Act 2012.
