The students of Janta Middle School based in Jamshedpur took a proactive approach to civic engagement by organizing a nukkad natak (street play) aimed at spreading awareness about the fundamental right to vote and its significance in shaping the future of their community. With creativity and enthusiasm, the students crafted a compelling narrative that underscored the importance of active participation in the democratic process. Through vibrant performances and engaging dialogue, they highlighted the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democracy, emphasizing that voting is not just a choice but a duty that shapes the course of governance and development. Altogether it was a group of 30 students who tried to spark change on the ground.
