ALIG in all its intervention schools, has been promoting gardening skills among students as it is a wonderful physical development activity. Gardening also helps in developing motor skills, which in turn helps in improving their academic skills.
Tending to plants also inculcates responsibilities among students and these learning are lifelong. The school garden also helps the children learn about science and nature.
All schools have a small garden which are in the hands of students and at the end of the year on 26th January during Republic Day celebrations, the best one is awarded in the presence of other schools.
