ALIG on 12th January 2019 entered into a collaboration with Tata Power Community Development Trust to promote social entrepreneurship among women.

ALIG has been imparting training in stitching and embroidery to women for the last several years but there was no platform for these trained women to showcase their work to larger markets.

Dhaaga-Udyami collaboration will provide that opportunity and platform to these trained women and also help them in linkages with larger market using Tata Power platform. Under this initiative, bags and kurtis will be manufactured commercially and sold in the market. Profit earned would be shared among the beneficiaries.
