World Ozone Day

September 22, 2018

World Ozone Day marks the importance and role of Ozone Layer in the environment. It is celebrated on 16th of September every year. Ozone Layer depletion is a serious problem currently the world is facing. Money and Time are being spent on ozone repair, but the problem still exists. The ozone layer is essential for life on Earth because it protects the surface from dangerous Ultra Violet Radiation. Poster making competition, sketching and debates were held in the Government Schools where ALIG is involved to make the students aware about the depletion of Ozone Layer and how to protect it using Eco-friendly and Ozone protective products. A message was also spread amongst the children Get in the Zone to save Ozone.
