A residential training program was organized for 'Peer Educators on 'Reproductive and Sexual Health' from 8th - 10th November 2016 at ALIG's Jamila Women Center in Jamshedpur. Peer educators are our young adolescent leaders in the community who deliver awareness and personality development activities in targeted community through youth resource center (YRCs). Mr. Vivek Sarkar, Mr. Sudhakar Mahato from Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) and Area Health Workers (AWHs) of ALIG were the trainers for the training program. The training program revolved around reproductive and sexual health, sanitation and hygiene, sharing knowledge, building self confidence, group interaction, safety and rights of adolescent. We thank TSRDS and Tata Power for igniting our young minds.
