Digital Literacy Initiative

April 29, 2017

ALIG takes a step towards making the children of the government schools, digitally active and exposed to gadgets and applications. Ms Prianna, who is currently a class 9 student in one of the schools in USA, had visited few of the ALIG adopted government schools with her parents in December 2016. Ms Prianna went back to US with a resolution that she would want to contribute to the child education in government schools in her own little ways. In a span of 3 months - she brought together few of her school friends on a project of developing an android based app - which the government school children could use as an English learning tool. Now the children  are using the app on this ALIG project. ALIG team salutes Ms. Prianna's thoughts at such a young age.
